The next Fortnite update will come out on Thursday, November 16. Originally, we expected the major update to come out on Tuesday and a hotfix two days later. However, it appears that Epic Games will have a different schedule for updates in the Season OG.
The upcoming update will bring more map changes. Additionally, Epic will once again change the loot pool, and a couple of fan-favorite weapons will return. This will be the first major update of the new season, which is why we expect it to add a lot of new content.

The next Fortnite update will bring Seasons 7 and 8
At the moment, Fortnite players are enjoy the remake of Chapter 1 – Season 6. Kevin the Cube is at Loot Lake, and the loot pool has many amazing weapons from the season. However, this will change in only one day. On Thursday, Epic Games will release an update that will bring Seasons 7 and 8.
The snow biome will appear on the Fortnite island and bring Frosty Flights, along with a few other locations. Pirate Camps will also appear over the map, and the Time Machine will be moved to Dusty Divot.

The next Fortnite patch will require a client update
Epic Games will release the v27.10 Fortnite update on Thursday, which means that you will have to update your clients. This also means that the game developer will likely have a downtime of at least one hour.
Epic has already revealed all the items that will return with the next Fortnite update, and here’s a list of them:
- Flint-Knock Pistol
- Minigun
- Quad Launcher
- Poison Dart Trap
- Buried Treasure
- Itemized Glider Redeploy
The trap will not be in Zero Build modes, just like the other trap items in the Season OG.
On top of this, the upcoming Fortnite update will unvault the X-4 Stormwing plane, along with the Pirate Cannon. Both of these vehicles can be used to move quickly over the island and deal damage to enemies. While we expect planes to be scattered around the map, the cannons will likely be only found at Pirate Camps.
